On Thursday, United Nations Secretary-General appointed a British-Pakistani barrister to lead an investigation into ISIS crimes in Iraq. Pakistan legislators refuse resolution condemning mob attack on Ahmadi Mosque

On Friday Pakistan’s provincial assembly of Sindh refused submission of a resolution denouncing the mob attack on a historic Ahmadiyya Mosque. The resolution was tabled by Irum Azeem Farooque, an Independent member of the provincial legislature. Widespread condemnation followed the mob attack against an Ahmadiyya Mosque in the Pakistani city of Sialkot. An enraged Indonesian mob attacked and destroyed the houses of the ‘heretical’ Ahmadiyya community on Saturday afternoon. A vehicle crash at Maryland Mosque on Sunday left two injured. Police say a 76-year-old man, was trying to park when the car fell into the lower level of an outside enclosure near the building.
