Pakistani politican wants to add anti-Ahmadiyya chapter in school syllabus

Speaking to a KhatmeNabuwat conference in Mardan, speaker of Pakistan’s KP (Khyper Pakhtunkhawa) Provincial Assembly Asad Qaiser said that “Provincial government will soon add a chapter on the belief of KhatmeNabuwat in the syllabus.” Asad Qasier is a politician from Swabi District of KP Province and is affiliated with PTI (Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf) which is considered to be a “liberal nationalist party”, lead by former cricketer Imran Khan.

Pakistani court refuses bail to four men accused of attacking Ahmadiyya homes

A two-member Supreme Court bench refused to grant bail on Wednesday to four men accused of attacking Ahmadi community homes in Gujranwala. On Friday Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper addressed Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, Canada’s largest national Islamic convention, the convention is being held in the Greater Toronto Area, at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. Prime Minister Harper praised the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community for accepting Canadian ways, but he also spoke of terror threats.

Ahmadiyya Muslim killed in apparent sectarian attack in Taunsa, Pakistan

An Ahmadi Muslim man has been shot dead by four attackers on a motorbike in Taunsa, a city in the south of Punjab province of Pakistan. 37 year old Ikramullah was in the pharmacy that he owned when four gunmen on motorbikes stormed the store and opened fire. Ikramullah was shot several times and one of the bullets went through his skull. 

Canadian Muslims hold 28th annual Youth Camp

WikiLeaks ‘Saudi Cables’ reveal secret push to stop Ahmadiyya in Indonesia

Whistle-blowing website Wikileaks has published more than 60,000 secret documents from Saudi Arabia and said that it had more than half a million additional documents that it will be releasing in the upcoming weeks as part of the “Saudi Cables”. The secretive organization, headed by 43-year-old Australian Julian Assange, was launched in December 2006. The organization facilitates the anonymous leaking of secret information through its website to expose the wrongdoing of governments and corporations.

Khalifa of Islam Ahmadiyya visits Irish National Parliament

On 24 September 2014, the World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the Fifth Khalifa, His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad visited the National Parliament of Ireland, the ‘Oireachtas’ at Leinster House in Dublin.
