All Pakistan Atfal Essay writing competition

Majlis Atafal ul Ahmadiyya Pakistan ( Ahmadiyya Youth Association for boys between the ages of 7 and 15) organized a Essay writing competition on “Pros and Cons of Internet & Mobile Phones”. All Rabwah Snooker Tournament

MKA Rabwah (Majlis Khuddam ul Ahmadiyya) held an all Rabwah Snooker tournament from 14th to 28th August 2011. The event was inaugurated by head of Seht-o-Jismani Mr Zahid Mahmood on the 14th of August. Sehte-o-Jismani section is part of MKA the Ahmadiyya Youth Association and is geared towards improving physical fitness and to encourage sporting activities. 48 players from all over Rabwah took part in the tournament. Faisalabad: Ahmadi man killed for his faith

A 55 year old man was killed last night in the Samnabad neighbourhood of Faisalabad. According to reports around 1’o clock last night 4 unknown men entered the house of Naseem Butt by jumping over the walls of his house and started shooting at him. He was hit in the abdomen and in the back. Afterwards the gunmen escaped from the scene.

Buddhist ruins found near Rabwah

Remnants of a 4th century AD Buddhist stupa and monastery have been found on the foothills of Rabwah in area once knows as ‘Punj Peer’. The discovery was made by Chiniot based a local NGO called Lok Baithak. The remains which include graves, walls of rooms, animal bones, pottery and meditation cells built out of stones and terracotta bricks are spread over an area of nine acres. On Friday 29th July Sahibzadi Hadhrat Nasira Begum sahiba mother of Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad(aba) Khalifatul Masih V (current head of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community) passed away in Rabwah.
