Pakistan puts portrait of U.S. designated terrorist on celebratory train

On Wednesday the U.S. State Department designated Hizb-ul-Mujahideen as a Foreign Terrorist Organization as Pakistan celebrated the terror organization by placing a portrait of Hizb leader on a celebratory train. Australian of the Year shows his support for Ahmadiyya Muslims

When David Morrison saw a group of Muslims flying the Australian flag and having their picture taken at a citizenship ceremony in Canberra yesterday, he walked straight over to them and asked if he could join in. Indian Muslims upset after PM Modi sends greetings to Muslims

In an odd move Indian Muslim leaders have criticized Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for sending greetings to Muslims. In a letter written on 21st December 2015 Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Ahmadiyya Muslim Community for its religious tolerance and universal brotherhood. He wished success to ‘Khilafat-e-Ahmadiyya Centenary’ celebrations which are taking place in Qadian this month. Thousands of Pakistani Ahmadis are also taking part in the celebrations.

Thousands of Pakistani Ahmadis head to India for annual conference

Pakistan’s Ahmadiyya Muslims are heading to India to attend the community’s annual convention which will take place in Qadian, Punjab.The convention will run from December 26th to December 28th.More than 25,000 delegates from all over the world are expected to attend the 124th Jalsa Salana (Annual Convention). For over three decades now Pakistan’s Ahmadis have been annually making their way to India through Wagah Border. The practice was set in motion after Pakistani Government banned Ahmadiyya gatherings in 1984.  

Ahmadi bookstore owner and manager arrested for Blasphemy

Pakistani authorities have arrested two Ahmadi Muslim men for alleged Blasphemy. Bookstore owner Abul Shukoor and manager Mazhar Ahmad were arrested Wednesday, Dec. 2 from Ahmadiyya Book Depot in Rabwah. Both men were taken to an unknown location after their arrest. According to a leaked charge sheet the men were charged under section 298-C of Pakistan’s Penal code. The infamous law prevents members of Ahmadiyya sect from preaching and calling themselves Muslim. Pakistani politician arrested for hate speech released on bail

Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Mufti Kifayat ullah who was arrested on September 10th under hate speech charges has been released on bail.He was released from Faisalabad Central Jail on Tuesday. Mufti Kifayatullah, a former JUI-F provincial assembly member from Mansehra district, was arrested in Chiniot for making an objectionable and provocative speech at an “Ishtekam-i-Pakistan Conference” which was organized by another politician Ilyas Chinioti (PML-N) who is a member of Punjab Assembly.

Armed militia attack Ahmadiyya Mosque in Yemen

On 9th September 2015 an armed fundamentalist group, broke into the Ahmadiyya Mosque in the Sheikh Othman district of the seaport city of Aden in Yemen.
