Algeria has arrested 12 members of the minority Ahmadiyya community for the offense of “promoting their faith”. On Wednesday the Algerian security forces in the state of Chlef announced the arrest of 12 Ahmadis and charged them for “spreading their faith without a license”. The Palestinian Authority sent eight fire trucks and 41 firefighters after massive wildfires tore through central and northern Israel. Police detained 13 people on suspicion of arson. The Wildfires which lasted four days forced 60,000 people to evacuate and affected Israel’s third-largest city of Haifa.
