HAMPSHIRE, England – Education is the key to breaking the influence that media-savvy, violent extremists have on young, disaffected Muslims, the leader of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community (AMC) believes. Security officials estimate up to 700 people have left Britain to become involved with extremist groups such as the Islamic State (IS). About half have returned. Ahmadiyya Muslim killed in apparent sectarian attack in Taunsa, Pakistan

An Ahmadi Muslim man has been shot dead by four attackers on a motorbike in Taunsa, a city in the south of Punjab province of Pakistan. 37 year old Ikramullah was in the pharmacy that he owned when four gunmen on motorbikes stormed the store and opened fire. Ikramullah was shot several times and one of the bullets went through his skull.

Pakistan Police kill three terrorists linked to banned Sunni militant group ASWJ

At least three suspected terrorists were killed late Wednesday night in an alleged police encounter, while two managed to escape. According to a police spokesman, policemen were taking two men Muhammad Hanif and Raja Iftikhar Ahmad accused of orchestrating attacks on Ahmadiyya Mosques, to recover hidden arms, when four to five armed men opened fire at the police party on Indus Highway near Taunsa Bypass.

WikiLeaks ‘Saudi Cables’ reveal secret push to stop Ahmadiyya in Indonesia

Whistle-blowing website Wikileaks has published more than 60,000 secret documents from Saudi Arabia and said that it had more than half a million additional documents that it will be releasing in the upcoming weeks as part of the “Saudi Cables”. A Pakistani Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has sentenced two Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) men, Moavia and Abdullah, to death on Saturday for their role in a deadly attack on an Ahmadi place of worship in 2010. Islamist Extremists plan march against Ahmadis in Rabwah

Khatme-Nabuwat Sargodha an anti-Ahmadiyya Islamist group has postponed the staging of a protest demonstration in Rabwah by 15 days after district authorities promised to redress its grievances.
