Ahmadiyya in Rabwah living under constant threat to their Lives

Pakistan’s constitution was amended 40 years ago to declare Ahmadis to be non-Muslims. Regarded by orthodox Muslims as heretical, Ahmadis are not allowed to refer to their places of worship as mosques or to publicly quote from the Koran – acts punishable by imprisonment of up to three years. Khalifa of Islam Ahmadiyya visits Irish National Parliament

On 24 September 2014, the World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the Fifth Khalifa, His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad visited the National Parliament of Ireland, the ‘Oireachtas’ at Leinster House in Dublin. Upon arrival, His Holiness was received by the Captain of the Guard in Parliament, Comdt. John Flaherty. Thereafter, His Holiness was received by Sean Barrett, TD, Ceann Comhairle of the Parliament (Speaker) in his official office.

Pakistani mob attacks Ahmadiyya Mosque in Okara

In the latest instance of anti-ahmadiyya mob violence sweeping Pakistan a mob of men and school children attacked an Ahmadiyya mosque in Okara, Pakistan, on Wednesday. Police officers present at the scene watched on as the crowd of angry men started hurling stones & bricks at the mosque after their forceful takeover of the Mosque failed.

Ahmadi doctor gunned down in southern Pakistan

Gunmen in southern Pakistan shot dead 50-year-old doctor from Pakistan’s Ahmadiyya Muslim minority at his clinic in the latest attack on one of the country’s most persecuted groups. The assailants stormed Mubashar Ahmad Khosa’s clinic in the city of Mirpur Khas on Monday evening and opened fire on him before fleeing the spot on a motorbike. Zafarullah Dharejo, a senior local police official, added that a third attacker kept watch outside.

Muslims hold blood drive at Capitol Hill to honor 9/11 victims

Humanity First a humanitarian organization set up by Ahmadiyya Muslim Community during the Bosnian war has just opened its first school in MAFRAQ, JORDAN, It works as a neutral Humanitarian agency. Currently there are 75 Syrian Refugee children and 25 Jordanian children in the school. Australian students learn about life inside the mosque

PAUDA College students and teachers visited the Ahmadiyya mosque and community centre ‘Bait-ul-Salam’ (House of Peace) in Langwarrin. The 280 students were given a brief presentation on the history and teachings of Islam by Imam Janud, of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association Victoria. Over two days, six groups of students visited the mosque and learned the basics of Islam and how Muslims worship there. The tour was arranged by Frankston Interfaith network after a request by Padua College.
