Ahmadiyya Muslim youth visit U.S. capitol to show support for anti-bullying law

On Friday October 23, 2015, 170 young boys from around the U.S. came to Washington D.C. to meet with Congressmen and Senators to discuss an anti-bullying law and introduce “Atfal-ul-Ahmadiyya”. Atfal-ul-Ahmadiyya is the Youth auxiliary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. Most of the children stayed overnight at Bait ur Rahman Mosque, the Mosque also serves as the U.S. headquarters of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. Early Friday morning the kids made their way to Capitol Hill on two school buses.

American Muslims hosting annual Muslim conference in Harrisburg, PA

America’s oldest Muslim community plans to gather in Pennsylvania for a conference starting Friday. The 67th Annual Jalsa Salana Convention starts on August 14th and runs through August 16th at the Pennsylvania Farm Show complex in Harrisburg,PA. The three day event is being hosted by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA.Conference guests include Members of Congress, the U-S State Department, Guatemala’s Congress, and Mali’s ambassador to the U-S.

Canadian Muslims hold 28th annual Youth Camp

From July 24 to 26, thousands of Ahmadiyya Muslim youth from across Canada gathered to play cricket, basketball, and sports like human foosball. The events were part of the 28th annual gathering of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association. The camp is designed to teach youth about Islam, dispel misconceptions, and promote a sense of unity and brotherhood. The men played cricket, basketball, and sports like human foosball.
