Australian Muslims to take part in Anzac Day dawn service

Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia will participate in ‘Dawn Service’ throughout Australia and will volunteer for local RSLs in each state to commemorate the ANZAC Day.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Association Australia plans to commemorate ANZAC Day 2016 by taking part in various volunteer activities and selling ANZAC badges. Hundreds of Ahmadi Muslims will also be joining ‘Dawn Service’ on 25th of April in all major Australian states.

The National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia, Mr. I. H. Kauser said,

“ANZAC is one of those significant days that bring our nation together to reflect upon the great sacrifices our servicemen and women made to protect us and our country. It is a day of great importance and a day when we as a nation should reiterate our pledge of loyalty and service to the county in war and peace. It is a day that gives us a message that we as a nation must unite and honour those who sacrifice their lives for us all.”

Imam Kauser further said,

“Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia always pledge their loyalties to their homeland; Australia and we are always ready to sacrifice our life, our wealth, our time and our honour for the sake of our country.”

He said,

“I encourage all Australian Muslims to join in the commemorations of the event and reflect on the sacrifices and services of our men and women who work day in and day out to protect us and to keep us safe.”

His pledge was to uplift the morale and spirits of every race and people.True to their covenant, the followers of his creed show their solidarity to their homelands and their gratitude to God in every way.
    Thus they set a precedence for every thinking person.

  2. It is a great step to serve one’ s country that must be appreciated. In Islam, love for country and patriotic service is part of one’s religious obligations. Giving back to community is an essential ethic that must be practiced by every community. Jamaat Ahmadiya has set a good example.
