Zimbabwean police said Tuesday they are searching for an American who allegedly shot a well-known, protected lion known as Cecil with a crossbow in a killing that has outraged conservationists and others. YouTube makes virtual reality push with 360-degree 3-D

YouTube says it’s making a further push into virtual reality, promising to add 3-D support for videos that play back in its 360-degree format. Thursday’s announcement comes a day after the debut of the first online 360-degree ad, a commercial for Bud Light. US Embassy employee gunned down in Pakistan

Police say gunmen have killed a local employee of the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad, though a motive for the attack is still unclear. Police identified the dead employee as Iqbal Baig, saying he worked for the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency. They say Baig was killed early Sunday morning at his home.
