For over three decades now Pakistan’s Ahmadis have been annually making their way to India through Wagah Border. The practice was set in motion after Pakistani Government banned Ahmadiyya gatherings in 1984.

In Qadian preparations are in full swing to accommodate the thousands of Pakistani guests. A special bus service has also been initiated to transport Pakistani guests from Wagha border to Qadian. Safety Inspections of the event venue are also being carried out with the help of local and central Government. The event venue will also house temporary TV studios which will be used to record and translate event proceedings for the community’s satellite channel MTA.
