On Sunday, May 8th Toronto City Hall located at Nathan Phillips Square will host 50th anniversary celebrations of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Canada. Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper speaks at Ahmadiyya Muslim Convention

On Friday Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper addressed Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, Canada’s largest national Islamic convention, the convention is being held in the Greater Toronto Area, at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. Prime Minister Harper praised the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community for accepting Canadian ways, but he also spoke of terror threats.

Canadian Muslims hold 28th annual Youth Camp

From July 24 to 26, thousands of Ahmadiyya Muslim youth from across Canada gathered to play cricket, basketball, and sports like human foosball. The events were part of the 28th annual gathering of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association. Canada’s Ahmadi Muslims are conducting a first-time campaign during this year’s month of Ramadan. They are inviting non-Muslims to “Fast with a Muslim Friend”. Through the “Fast with a Muslim Friend” program, non-Muslim Canadians are invited to sign up to try fasting and then share iftar, the evening meal that ends the day of going without food or drink.

Ahmadiyya Muslims hold rally in Saskatoon to condemn Ottawa attacks

SASKATOON – Muslims across Canada are condemning the attacks on Parliament Hill this week, including the ones in Saskatchewan. Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community held a solidarity rally in front of Saskatoon’s city hall to show support for the fallen soldiers and stand in solidarity with Canadians to condemn the attacks in Canada and abroad.
