Pakistan blocks Ahmadiyya community’s website

According to indepdent reports Pakistan’s largest ISP PTCL has blocked access to alislam.org the official website of the persecuted Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. This is not the first time Pakistan has used its internet censorship system to block access to the community’s website. ATM services go down in Lahore

Consumers became concerned after ATM (Automated Teller Machines) of several banks went down and administration of the banks failed to provide any satisfactory reason for the downtime. Due to the downtime customers had a difficult time managing their financial matters. ATM services in Lahore remained inactive all night on
