On Sunday 26 November 2016, the Berwick chapter of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community hosted a Holy Quran Exhibition at Hampton Park Library, in an effort to educate Australians about the beautiful teachings of Islam. Australian Muslims to take part in Anzac Day dawn service

Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia will participate in ‘Dawn Service’ throughout Australia and will volunteer for local RSLs in each state to commemorate the ANZAC Day. Persecuted Ahmadiyya Muslims who fled Pakistan celebrate Australia Day

Four years ago, Asif Khan took his wife and two children and fled Pakistan, where as an Ahmadiyya Muslim he was part of a heavily persecuted minority group. Yesterday, Mr Khan said he thanked Allah for bringing him to the other side of the world as he celebrated Australia Day among a peaceful sea of red, white and blue at the Masjid Baitul Huda Mosque in Marsden Park in Sydney’s northwest.

Australian students learn about life inside the mosque

PAUDA College students and teachers visited the Ahmadiyya mosque and community centre ‘Bait-ul-Salam’ (House of Peace) in Langwarrin. The 280 students were given a brief presentation on the history and teachings of Islam by Imam Janud, of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association Victoria. Over two days, six groups of students visited the mosque and learned the basics of Islam and how Muslims worship there. The tour was arranged by Frankston Interfaith network after a request by Padua College.

Beverley’s Veneto Italian Club to be sold to Muslim group and used as mosque

ONE of Australia’s best known Italian clubs will be turned into a mosque under a plan being considered by Charles Sturt Council. The Veneto Club in Beverley , Adelaide plans to move to a smaller site in the western suburbs after dwindling membership forced it out of its Toogood Ave base.
