Jamia Ahmadiyya students take top spot in Intermediate Exams

On Saturday 10th September  The Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Faisalabad announced results for Intermediate Examinations 2011.

The top 3 positions in Arts Group among boys were all bagged by 3 bright students of Jamia Ahmadiyya Rabwah, Raja Athar Qudoos a 6th year student at Jamia Ahmadiyya came first after securing 931 marks, Syed Anwaar Ahmad Shah took 921 marks and came second while Hafiz Ata ul Haleem a 5th year student at Jamia Ahmadiyya came third after securing 919 marks.

Jamia Ahmadiyya Rabwah is a missionary college where students are enrolled in a a 7-year comprehensive course in Islamic theology and comparative study of religions.

The result was supposed to be announced on 25th August but got delayed due to the hold-up in matric result.

On Sunday 11th September a prize distribution ceremony was held at Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Auditorium in which gold medals were awarded and cash prizes were announced for top position holders.

The ceremony was attended by Khawaja Muhammad Islam (Member Provincial Assembly), Dr. Ghazala Raza (MPA), Divisional Commissioner Syed Tahir Husain, Chairman BISE Syed Mumtaz Husain Shah, Secretary BISE Dr. Shaukat Ali and Controller Examination Muhammad Riaz. Parents & relatives of students were also present.
