Consumers became concerned after ATM (Automated Teller Machines) of several banks went down and administration of the banks failed to provide any satisfactory reason for the downtime.
Due to the downtime customers had a difficult time managing their financial matters. ATM services in Lahore remained inactive all night on Wednesday due to technical glitches. According to details the technical glitch was linked to the country’s main server in Karachi and there were no issues on branch level.
Customers complained that even if it was a technical fault the bank employees should be notified so they can better handle customer queries, while some linked the downtime with the Country’s changing political climate.
