Ahmadiyya community launches Micronesia’s first ever Muslim newspaper

The publication, which released it’s first edition this month, is titled “The Voice of Islam in Micronesia” and gathers content from Muslim community writers worldwide. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community spans more than 200 countries and has been established in Majuro, Marshall islands for many years now.

According to Matiullah Joyia, Editor of Voice of Islam in Micronesia the main purpose of the publication is to educate the members of the community in Micronesia as there is a large muslim population consisting of immigrants from Fiji. The publication will not only cater to the needs of those members but of the general public as well.

The publication will which will be available in a hard & soft copy will also be emailed to subscribers. The Voice of Islam in Micronesia is an addition to the growing number of publications run by the community in over 200 different countries with each country having its very own publication.

Material for the publication will be contributed not only by the local members but also by guest authors from rest of the world
