Khilafat Centenary celebrations continue as UK Member of Parliament hosts celebratory event at Westminster.
In an historic event at the Houses of Parliament, the Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad was yesterday invited to address a number of senior members of Government, Parliamentarians and Ambassadors as Justine Greening MP, hosted a reception in celebration of the Khilafat Centenary, which is the system of spiritual leadership that unites Ahmadi Muslims around the world.
The event was attended by over 30 MPs including Rt Hon Hazel Blears MP, Secretary of State for Communities & Local Government; Dominic Grieve MP, the Shadow Home Secretary; Simon Hughes MP, the President of the Liberal Democrats; Gillian Merron MP, the Foreign Office Minister and Lord Eric Avebury who gave the vote of thanks. The event was sponsored by Justine Greening MP, in whose constituency the first Ahmadi Mosque built in the UK, the ‘Fazl Mosque’, is based. Continue Reading

On October 16th 2008 Hazur Inaugurated the first mosque of East Germany. The mosque, with room for about 500 people, is on the site of an old sauerkraut factory in the Berlin suburb of Pankow-Heinersdorf.The white two-story mosque boasts a 42-foot silver dome. The mosque has two halls, a flat, a guest house, a library and a conference room. There are plans to make a park as well.
Lajna Imaillah (organization of Ahmadi women 15 years and above) collected 1.7 million Euros for the Berlin Mosque of which 400,000 Euros were donated by Lajna UK. If this amount was to be converted in Pakistani currency it comes up to approximately 19 Karore (190 million). Continue Reading

On 10th October 2008 Khalifatul Masih V Hadrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad Inaugurated The Mubarak Mosque in Saint-Prix France.
Huzur said that with the grace of Allah the French Jama’at has been enabled to build their first ever mosque. May Allah make this mosque a strong foundation for building further mosques which may not have any legal impediments and may the members of the Jama’at be also infused with a spirit of sacrifice to build more mosques.
Huzur said the construction of this mosque has certainly proven that if one is resolute Allah removes impediments in the fullness of time. Continue Reading
